Peters' Boyz Texas Bbq

We decided to go on a road trip for our anniversary and we were recommended to stop at Peters Boyz BBQ. The food was amazing. The beans are so unique and delicious. We loved the pulled pork and yard bird with the Smokey sweet bbq sauce. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants great food and friendly service! Will definitely be one of our stops next time we are in town.

WOW!!!! This place is amazing! If you like authentic southern BBQ, you absolutely MUST stop here! Be sure to arrive early since everything is made fresh and once it’s gone, it’s gone. The staff is so friendly and inviting, and the atmosphere is an adorable and cozy western diner. Do not leave without getting the bourbon caramel smoked cheesecake! TOO DIE FOR!!!!!!

This is a really great place to get Texas barbecue! It is an overlooked hidden gem in downtown Kimberly, just past the post office !! Everything is cooked and smoked by the owner directly, everyday. He loves what he's doing and it shows in the food, the service, and the atmosphere! Even if you're not a big barbecue fan, this is worth the stop!! Ribs melt off the bones, tender brisket, (prepared for 16 hrs.) chicken, pulled pork. all in a variety of dishes. And, be sure to order the small but VERY good, dense, butter cake! You don't need large pieces! He will personally make sure you really do like your meal.

Amanda, the manager, is such a kind and welcoming woman — she made us feel at home right away. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the ribs — tender, flavorful, falling right off the bone, melting in your mouth. You can taste the love and tradition in the recipe, which we were told comes straight from Texas and Chef Mr. Pete himself. We also tried the nachos, which were tasty, though a little on the sweet side for us. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, filled with soul: beautiful postcards, children’s drawings, family photos, and even the story of how the restaurant came to be. You can really feel that this place was built with heart. If you haven’t been here yet — or if you’re just passing through — I highly recommend stopping by. It’s easily one of the top restaurants in Wisconsin for BBQ and grilling. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and Amanda went out of her way to explain everything and make sure we enjoyed our visit. Another great bonus: right around the corner is Timber Tap Taproom and Brewery, with an amazing selection of beer and cider. We happened to visit in September during Oktoberfest — there was live music, perfect late-summer weather, and it made for such a memorable evening. And just to top it all off — there’s even a bike repair station nearby, so if you’re cycling through, it’s the perfect stop! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Highly recommend!

Very family styled BBQ restraunt. Reggie makes his food fresh and hot! Homemade recipes straight from Texas. Peterboyz gives a very catholic / Christian atmosphere. Be back again for sure! Recommend for anyone.

I love BBQ and good BBQ is hard to find. My friend took me here for my first time and I was NOT disappointed!! I got the cut brisket, mac n cheese, and fries. My friend got the ribs and potato salad and beans. Maaaaaaaan, everything was cooked beautifully, seasoned to perfection, EVEN the fries were tasty. The owner even took time to come talk to us. He also talked us into dessert. YES, they were delicious as well. I will be back for sure! Thank you and stay blessed

Peters’ Boyz BBQ is hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had and I say that as someone who’s traveled all over during my time in the military and tasted BBQ from just about everywhere. Nothing compares. The ribs were fall off the bone perfect, the brisket melted in my mouth, and the sides were just as incredible. The slaw, mac, and cornbread honestly fed my soul. Everything had that rich, smoky flavor and the kind of balance you only get when people truly love what they’re doing. This isn’t just food, it’s an experience. You can tell they cook with passion, heart, and maybe even a little bit of the Holy Spirit. Peters’ Boyz BBQ is a blessing, and I can’t recommend it enough. Make sure to get some cheesecake for desert!!

This was our first time trying out Peter’s Boyz and it will definitely not be our last! We were seated immediately by a very friendly waitress which is always a great start. The food was top notch and very flavorful. You can tell this is authentic southern BBQ food, which is difficult to find in our area. The space is small but cozy with western themed decor. The portions are perfect for the price as well. We have just found our new favorite BBQ restaurant!
